SPECIALIST hotel management company Providence Hospitality has been appointed to run the 51-bedroom Crown Hotel at Wetheral, near Carlisle.
It is the eighth UK property to join the Providence Hospitality portfolio, and the first on a management-only basis. The hotel was purchased by Variegate Properties Limited when previous owner David Byers retired from the business. All hotel employees will remain in their positions.
Providence Hospitality’s portfolio includes the Borrowdale Gates Hotel, near Keswick, as well as other properties in Cornwell, Devon and Somerset.
