ONE of Britain’s top superbike teams, owned by Langwathby-based Paul Bird, will be making its first public appearance of the year at Northallerton Club on Tuesday.

The Demon Vimto Honda team of John McGuinness and James Toseland will be unveiling plans for their assault on this year’s British championships at the show, organised by North Yorkshire Road Racing Supporters’ Club. They will be accompanied by Bird and 125cc rookie Stuart Easton.

The team, highly regarded, as Britain’s most successful last year when John McGuinness won the 250cc British championship as well as taking victories at the Isle of Man TT races, Daytona, Scarborough and the North West 200, will have one of their brand new racing machines with them, prior to jetting off for pre-season testing.
