THE under-15 rugby team from Penrith Queen Elizabeth Grammar School have reached the semi-finals of the national Schools Vase competition.

They beat Pocklington School 7-5 away from home in the quarter-finals and will now play Kenilworth School and Sixth Form, from Coventry, in the semi-final, to be played at Allianz Park, in London — the home of Saracens RUFC — on Sunday, 4th March.

The other semi-final is between the London Oratory School and Beechen Cliff School, from Bath.

Should QEGS reach the final, it will be played on Wednesday, 14th March, at Twickenham.
