Unbeaten Colts have eyes on last 16 of National Cup

Date: Friday 8th February 2019

PENRITH Rugby Club’s under-18 Colts will be hoping to keep their excellent season going today when they face local rivals Carlisle at the city’s Warwick Road ground in the third round of the National Cup.

After 14 victories in league and cup competitions — including Sandal and Stockton in the National Cup — the Colts are on a tremendous roll and continue to impress with their intensity and physicality.

The winner of today’s game, which kicks off at 11am, will be the sole Cumbrian survivor in the last 16 of the National Cup. It is expected to be a fiercely fought contest between two good sides.
