Handbag thefts

POLICE have released CCTV footage following reports of two handbag thefts from Penrith and Carlisle supermarkets.

Both thefts occurred on Friday, 22nd June, at Aldi supermarkets. At about 2-45pm at the Penrith store, a handbag was taken from a trolley. At 1-40pm the same day, a handbag was taken from the back of a trolley at the Kingstown Road store in Carlisle.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured in connection with both incidents.
