THREE people from Penrith were arrested for possessing drugs after police searched a house in the town.

A warrant was executed by officers at a property in Albert Street on Saturday. A 22-year-old man was charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply and will appear before Carlisle magistrates on 9th March.

A 23-year-old man, who was arrested for possessing drugs, will appear in court on 5th March. A caution for possession of cannabis was given to a 28-year-old woman who was detained following the search.
