Residents of Upper Eden in particular are staggered, too, that the council should have come up with proposals that would have led to an increase in fly-tipping and resulted in people making more car journeys in order to recycle their unwanted items.

WITH March on our doorstep the new house and garden open season is only a month away. Preparations in thegardens are well on the way and hopefully with some decent spring and summer weather all the hard work will produce quite a spectacle.
