ABOVE Derwent Parish Council has unanimously voted to oppose the continued search for an underground repository for radioactive waste in West Cumbria.At the latest meeting, councillors said they believed that West Cumbria should now withdraw from the Managing Radioactive Waste Safely (MRWS) process.
