Dick Taylor and his winning whippet.

Mr. Dick Taylor, Penrith, with his winning whippet, Gold Cracker, receives the Townhead Trophy from Mr. Alec McIntosh, of the Grey Bull, Inn, Penrith, with his two daughters, Lesley and Alison, in October, 1975. The trophy was donated by Mr. George Bowman and Mr. McIntosh and it was the first time it had been competed for. Second prize went to Mrs. Mary Iceton, Penrith, and third place went to Mr. Jake Thomas, Carlisle.
