SOME of the group of 23 Lake District national park voluntary wardens and rangers who tackled two large dumps of old cars and other rubbish on Moor Divock, overlooking Pooley Bridge, in June, 1979. All the major items were removed with the exception of one old car enjoying a temporary new role as a haven for nesting birds.
