Teenager attacked in Penrith
A PENRITH teenager was attacked in an attempted robbery on Wednesday.
The incident took place at 2-50pm in the alleyway by the railway bridge running from Brunswick Terrace behind Booths supermarket into Castletown. A police spokesman said: “An 18-year-old boy was walking by the bridge when he was approached by another male, asking him for some change or spare money. The boy kept on walking but was grabbed by the person and pulled to the floor.”
Police are appealing for witnesses to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
