Police appeal for crash witnesses
POLICE are appealing for information after a man was badly hurt in a road crash earlier this month.
The 51-year-old from Keswick was airlifted by helicopter to Royal Preston Hospital after suffering serious injuries to his head and chest. The crash, involving a motorcycle, took place on the B5289 near Buttermere on Friday, 2nd August, at around 7pm.
Emergency services including an air ambulance, land ambulance and BEEP doctors were called to the scene alongside police.
Cumbria Constabulary would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or who passed the collision and has dash cam footage.
