Supporters brave bad weather for fun-packed May Day

STEADFAST supporters braved bad weather for Penrith’s annual May Day Carnival on Monday, determined it would not “rain on their parade”.

May Queen Jesse Bowman and her attendants brought a blaze of colour in their cream and orange outfits, despite the weather.

Jesse was attended by Anna Kirkbride, Caitlin Padgett and Summer Davidson, who are all fellow pupils of Queen Elizabeth Grammar School.
